What was Ateeg Idea?

It started with a simple vision: turning the landmarks and monuments of Qatif into products that everyone could own, souvenirs that let people hold a piece of these places, so they wouldn't just be landmarks we pass by and forget. And with every step forward, the idea grew. It stretched to nearby regions, then kept expanding, until we found ourselves working toward something bigger, a vision that encompasses all of Saudi Arabia. We set out to revive its landmarks and stories through products that embody its identity, and to create souvenirs that carry a narrative, one that truly touches the heart.

It all started in 2020

The idea had been there before 2020. Every time we traveled and collected souvenirs, the same thought would creep in: where are Qatif's landmarks among all of these?

And that's where the work began. We brought the team together, started gathering ideas, and looked at what was already out there in the market.
